Suncorp NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children aged 5 to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to create a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. Suncorp NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

The program has been designed to complement the existing netball infrastructure by providing community groups such as Associations, Clubs and Schools with quality resources and equipment to deliver an age and skill appropriate netball program.

The Suncorp NetSetGO Program consists of three tiers:

The Suncorp NetSetGO Net Tier is an introductory fundamental movement and netball skill program. The Net Tier has an emphasis on participation, cooperation and teamwork. The Net program should be delivered in a non-competitive environment and does not contain a modified competition. The Net Tier has a minimum entry age of 5 years and may be offered to children up to the age of 10 years.

The Suncorp NetSetGO Set Tier is the first exposure to modified competition. The Set Tier has an emphasis on building confidence and proficiency through non-competitive and equal opportunity play. The Set Tier has a minimum entry age of 7 years and may be offered to children up to the age of 10 years. The modified rules of the Set Tier can be found here, and have been developed to provide an environment in which a participant can develop their understanding of the game and achieve success.

Progressing from the Set tier is the newly formed GO Tier. The GO Tier also has modified rules which can be found here. These rules are adapted in order to provide a smooth transition into junior netball. The GO Tier has a minimum entry age of 9 years and is recommended for children aged 9-10 years.
